Awareness Week

November 15-22nd 2020

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual program where people come together across the country to draw attention to the problems of hunger and homelessness. Participating groups spend the week holding a series of educational, service, fundraising, and advocacy events.

Wear orange to raise awareness for those who are hungry in our community.

Wednesday November 18
Donate Day

Donate items to your local

food pantry or shelter program!

Friday November 20
Shine A Light Day

Display a light in your window to "shine a light" on hunger and homelessness from

6 PM - 10 PM.

Tuesday November 17
Wear Purple Day

Wear purple to raise awareness for those who are experiencing homelessness in our community.

Thursday November 19
Virtual Vigil
